Super Eagles head coach, Jose Peseiro has thumbed up the Flying Eagles following their impressive win against Italy.
The two-time finalists recorded their second victory at the 2023 U-20 World Cup, edging out Gil Azzurrini 2-0 at the Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, Mendoza on Wednesday night.
Ladan Bosso’s side secured a place in the knockout round of the competition following the victory.
Salim Fago opened scoring for the Flying Eagles on 61st minutes, while Jude Sunday added the second deep into stoppage time.
Peseiro took to the social media to celebrate the team.
