Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan has said he does not believe Arsenal will be able to challenge for the Premier League title next season.
Arsenal stayed top of the Premier League for much of the campaign but gave up the title following their 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest. They will finish 2nd.
Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City made their third consecutive season and are surely set to be favourites to claim the title once again next year.
“I’m beginning to have grave reservations in so far as having an investment in Arsenal,” he said on talkSport.
“I worry that Arsenal going into the Champions League would also have a different demand upon them.
“They could go into the Champions League, not do very well in that and carry that fall into the Premier League and find themselves being the master of nothing.”
