Ex-Chelsea manager Potter closing in on first managerial job

by James Davies

Former Chelsea head coach, Graham Potter is closing in on an agreement to become the next manager of Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice.

According to the Daily Mail, Potter has expressed interest in taking over Nice.

Nice board members are eager to bring Potter in, as both parties have met each other.

Nice, owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have had a decent season in French Ligue 1 and are currently in ninth position.

Graham was sacked by Chelsea a few months ago.

The Englishman lasted less than seven months and had a win rate of under 39 per cent, the lowest among any permanent manager in Chelsea’s history.
