IMC commends NPFL clubs, referees for successful regular season

The Interim Management Committee has praised the 20 Clubs that participated in the recently concluded Nigeria Premier Football League.

The chairman of the IMC, Gbenga Elegbeleye hailed the clubs for helping to achieve alignment with the International football calendar.

He also congratulated the Nigeria Referee Association for maintaining a high standard officiating throughout the season.

“We asked the Referees to give us quality officiating which I can say today they reciprocated very much above average. It is part of our success story”, the IMC Chairman said during a ceremony.

“Today, I would like to commend the clubs for their understanding and subsequent cooperation with us in implementing our strategies to meet the terms of reference issued to the IMC.”

Six clubs will compete in the Super Six playoffs which will hold from June 3-11 at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan Lagos to determine the overall champions.
