Ajax attacking midfielder Mohammed Kudus looks set to leave his team for a club in the Premier League this summer.
Kudus has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League this summer following his eye-catching performances for Ajax this season, with the likes of Arsenal, Manchester United and Newcastle United said to be interested in the Ghana international.
The 22-year-old, who sees his contract at the Johan Cruyff Arena expire in 2025, has featured 29 times for Ajax in the Eredivisie this season.
Kudus has scored 11 goals and provided three assists for Ajax this term.
However, Kudus’ agent, Jennifer Mendelewitsch, has now confirmed that this summer is the best time for his client to leave Ajax.
As quoted by Dutch publication De Telegraaf, Mendelewitsch said: “I think it is best for both Ajax and Mohammed that he makes a transfer now. Now is the right time.
“He has ignored a proposal to extend his contract until the summer of 2026. What I can say is that after the World Cup and this season, there is a lot of interest in Kudus.”
