Osun United beat Shooting Stars to NNL promotion ticket

Osun United have gained promotion back to the Nigeria National League (NNL).

The Omoluabi defeated Shooting Stars Feeders 3-0 in one of the Nationwide League One playoffs game at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne.

Gabriel Godspower broke the deadlock in the first half to put Osun United in front.

Sodiq Babatunde and Solomon Ilasanmi put the game beyond reach of the youthful Ibadan Warriors side after the break.

Osun United were relegated to the Lower League after a disastrous campaign last term.
