American business magnate, Bill Gates has stated publicly that he prefers Andriod over iPhone, in an interview organised by Clubhouse.
Gates made an open statement about various issues including Bitcoin, the pandemic, and the age-old question, Andriod or iPhone during an interview with CNBC and NY Times journalist Andrew Ross Sorkin, imore reports.
From a recording on YouTube, the interview started with Sorkin describing how the immediate reaction to news of Gates’ Clubhouse appearance was “Bill Gates has an iPhone?”.
In response, Gates said he actually uses an Andriod phone but keeps an iPhone just to keep track of everything.

“I actually use an Android phone, but play around with iPhones because I liked to keep track of everything,” Gates said.
“But the phone I carry around happens to be Android.”
When asked if it was “a religious thing”, Gates noted how he finds Andriod easier to use because of the way Andriod manufactures pre-install Microsoft software.
“Some of the Android manufacturers pre-install Microsoft software in a way that makes it easier for me,” he said. “And that they are more flexible with how the software connects with the operating system.”Â
Over the course of the interview, Gates also spoke about Bitcoin, the pandemic, and how he is currently smashing the French thriller series Lupin on Netflix. On Bitcoin, Gates warned of the environmental impact of the technology and stated he hadn’t personally chosen to invest in any.
